'Thor: The Dark World': 'It's utterly brilliant'

Tom Hiddleston has dropped some hints about the upcoming sequel to Thor.

The actor will reprise his role as Loki for a third time in Thor: The Dark World, following his turns in 2011's Thor and this year's The Avengers.

"I don't want to give too much away. But I can guarantee that you won't be disappointed," Hiddleston told Total Film. "[Director] Alan Taylor's vision of Thor 2 is utterly brilliant.

"The journey continues in the most epic dimension and proportion imaginable. It's very, very exciting."

Hiddleston went on to discuss what it is about Loki that he enjoys playing most, pinpointing the character's vulnerability and feelings of inferiority within his family.

"Underneath the steely cold veneer of his trickster charm is a certain vulnerability and sensitivity - the wounded fragility of an outcast brother and son.

"His mind is a box of cats though! But I love him."

Hiddleston recently admitted that he initially thought he had "been rubbish" in Thor.

Thor: The Dark World will be released on November 8, 2013.

'Rush Hour 4' moving ahead

Rush Hour 4 is reportedly in the works with Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker likely to reprise their roles as mismatched cops Lee and James Carter.

Producer Arthur Sarkissian told Crave that he is hoping to bring in a pair of new characters to reinvigorate the franchise.

'Rush Hour' still

"I am working on Rush Hour 4 right now with Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan," he said. "I'm trying to do it closer to how I did Rush Hour 1, more down to earth, more gritty, introduce two new characters and make it real the way the first one was.

"I personally was not happy with the third one. I thought 1 and 2 were very good. I think 3 got out of hand a little bit. It's not a matter of just bringing them back to do another segment of that or a sequel to it by putting them in another city and having them bicker. I don't want that. I want something new."

Sarkissian suggested that he is hoping to lure Oscar-winning The Help star Octavia Spencer to join the sequel's main cast.

The Help's Octavia Spencer - winner of 'Best Supporting Actress In A Motion Picture' - waves to photographers
"Maybe Chris is now married? Jackie is married to Octavia Spencer, I don't know," he said. "Married to Chris's cousin, they live in Shanghai, Chris goes out to visit them. I don't know, I want something energetic."

Sarkissian added that no screenwriter has been enlisted to pen the script and Rush Hour franchise director Brett Ratner is "more than welcome to do it but he's got to do it in the right way".

On whether Chan would be undertaking strenuous action scenes, Sarkissian said: "He's getting a little older. I think he can fit it. What was great about Rush Hour 1 and 2 mostly was the relationship of these two and it came out of nowhere.

"It was just very real. We didn't build it, we didn't write it. It just happened. I think the action will be there but it has to be moulded to fit him today and not forced into stuff that he won't do."

Chan said during May's Cannes Film Festival that he couldn't foresee ever returning to the action comedy series.

The previous three Rush Hour movies have grossed more than $800 million at the worldwide box office. The most recent instalment, Rush Hour 3, was released in 2007.

Jeremy Renner 'on Hawkeye return'

Jeremy Renner has said that he is unsure if Hawkeye will be in another Marvel movie.

The Bourne Legacy star, who played the archer in The Avengers, admitted that he has no idea if he will be reprising the character in any of the upcoming Marvel films.

"It's a great character," Renner told MTV News. "There's a lot to explore there for me personally but I have no idea where they'll go with it."

He went on to say that ultimately he will not make the decision on Hawkeye's return.

"That's another sort of, [there are] puppeteers, they have their own ideas," Renner added. "I have no idea what's going on, people are probably more informed than I am of the reality of me being in another movie."

The 41-year-old recently insisted that he does not consider himself a replacement for Matt Damon in the upcoming Bourne film.

Captain America 2 'darker, edgier' tone

Captain America 2 director Anthony Russo has dropped some hints about the sequel's tone.

The movie, officially titled Captain America: The Winter Soldier, is based heavily on the Winter Soldier story by Ed Brubaker.

'Captain America: The First Avenger' still

"I can say in general that there's sort of a darker, edgier sensibility at work [in Brubaker's storyline] that we found appealing," Russo told The Huffington Post, "and that is going to find its way into Captain [America] in the modern day."

Brubaker's Winter Soldier sees Captain America's (Chris Evans in the film) dead best friend Bucky (Sebastian Stan) return as a brainwashed Russian assassin.

It has been confirmed that Stan will reprise his role in the sequel, while Anthony Mackie will join the cast.

Russo, who will co-direct alongside his brother Joe, went on to suggest that Captain America's alter ego Steve Rogers is still developing as a character, and will be shown to have changed significantly following the events of Captain America: The First Avenger.

"We're trying to grow him as a character, and certainly he's come a long way from where he started in pre-World War 2 to where he is in modern-day America.

"So the character has room for growth because of that huge journey that he's been on."

'Assassin's Creed' movie

Michael Fassbender will star in and produce a movie based on Ubisoft's hit video game series Assassin's Creed.

The games' storyline follows a bartender who learns that he is a descendant of famous assassins after being kidnapped by the Knights Templar. The action takes place during the Crusades and Renaissance.

Shame star Fassbender will co-produce the movie project with his DMC Film partner Conor McCaughan and Ubisoft Motion Pictures, reports Variety.

"Michael Fassbender was our first choice," said UMP CEO Jean-Julien Baronnet. "Michael is an extremely smart, talented, versatile and committed actor."

Assassin's Creed was previously being developed as a feature film by Sony Pictures, but work was put on hold. The project will now be developed independently by UMP, who will attach its own writer and director and seek out a production and distribution partner at a later date.

"We're open to re-discuss with the key studios once the production package is finalised," Baronnet said. "Whatever the financial model, UMP will limit its risk investment."

Bring back firefly

I do not know how many of you have heard about this but recently Nathan Fillion was interviewed and he stated "If I got $300 million from the California Lottery, the first thing I would do is buy the rights to Firefly, make it on my own, and distribute it on the Internet." This has spawned a frenzy across the net and has lead to this website to try and make this a reality. Many of the former writers of the show have said that they would drop what they were doing to work on Firefly once more. Jewel Staite when asked on twitter if she would want to be a part of a Firefly revival responded simply by saying, "Is the pope catholic?".
I figured this would be a great bit of news to bring here in case you had not already heard of this. If you would like more information on this uprising, you can read articles here and here.
Obviously Nathan's comment was just an offhand saying but with this much a stir now, the chances of success are better than ever before.

Why are we still debating gays in the military?
2300 hundred years after my death and they're still debating gays in the military? On behalf of myself and a whole bunch of ancient greek warriors I say get over it! We're here, we're queer and our mission is clear. I kicked ass and took names from the Bosphorus to Bactria. What's the big deal with what a soldier does in his own tent? Unit cohesion and morale my Macedonian Ass.

I led the finest army and was never whipped (I mean I never lost a battle, the boys from the Lambda brigade would contradict that first statement). I nearly conquered the world (Who knew India would be sooo big?) I did everything for my men and my Empire. I even married Roxanne and produced an heir. Talk about taking one for the team. If it wasn't for hard fighing warriors like me the Western world would be just another Satrapy of the Persian Empire. Think about that the next time you see Ahmedinejad ranting at the UN.

2.

So the dreaded second post it's a lot like a second album or even a second novel, when you were coming up the that what seemed to be awesome plan of writing a blog you seem to forget these got to be others or else what’s the point so you think and you think and come up with nothing so I thought id post a step by step guide I use so here we go:

Step 1: Researching (1 Hour)

Start with a topic. For instance, the topic of this post is, “blog post writing process.”

Then, before I write a single word, I do about an hour of research.

Step 2: Brainstorming and Structuring (30 Minutes)

The first step in my brainstorming process is to craft the headline based on the primary and secondary keywords.

Step 3: Writing (3 Hours)

Out of the six hours that it takes me to create a blog post, I only spend half of it writing.

Step 4: Posting (30 Minutes)

Now that you’ve written the post, preferably in Word, upload it to your site in the Add Post area.

Step 5: Editing and Accessorizing (1 Hour)

I hope this helps people trying to start something like me
